I don't plan on cutting in on our fearless quote leader Lou Ludwig, but I came across this one and it struck me...
I was having a conversation with a newer agent on how the business can really be an emotional roller coaster at times. She had two deals that fell out on the same day...which happened to be the day of closing as well! Talk about a bad real estate day and a sense of failure!
I was letting her know the learning lessons from what had happened and for her to be just as enthusiastic about getting them back under contract. That she had to believe it in her heart or else her clients never would.
We will have good and bad days. Highs and lows. Days we feel like king or queen of the world and days of road kill. But we MUST not lose our enthusiasm to get back up and kick some major butt the next day!
Oh, and for the two houses she didn't get to close on that day...Both had offers within the week. While one didn't quite pan out, the other did. I have no doubt the other will be undercontract soon.
Hope you all stay on the ride...it can be scary at times but worth it!
