These don't look like the houses on TV

No all the houses for sale don't look like the ones on Flip this House or Millionaire something or other.   Many times there are homes for sale that are Short Sales or Foreclosures or properties that have been rented to tenants that have just disrespected the property.  Either way, the owners don't do anything to prepare these properties for sale.

Most times there are Seller Disclosures, and sometimes they just wait for me to show up at the house to let me see things like this.... and then look like it's the first time they've seen it too! And will then say I'm not putting any money in it...

Neighbor tells me a drunk guy ran into the house with his car.stars  Has the roof leaked?  NO?new plumbing  I'm assuming there is new plumbing behind this sheetrock that's been cut out?

That's actually sunlight shining through the shower wall.  Why?  Because there is no wall behind it.

So Mr. Homeowner, as a home buyer, what would you offer me for this house if this one was on your list of properties to view?

Sometimes we just have to put things into perspective for our clients.

And no "Mr & Mrs I'm gonna do flips", you probably won't get the repairs done in a week and have the house sold on the weekend from an open house by a woman in high heels.  LOL

Very funny! Yes, we see all kinds. In an empty home, I once saw a mouse doing laps in a few inches of water in the basement.
