Speechless Sunday National Flag Day June 14, 2015

Today June 14th is National Flag Day; it is celebrated on this day because it is when the date the flag was adopted in 1777. It is also the Army’s Birthday today this was passed by Congress in 1775. Woodrow Wilson was the President that issued the proclamation to make June 14 National Flag Day.  Many states have various parades and celebration commemorating our Flag! I am filled with such pride every time I see the Flag of the United States of America and what is stands for! We are so lucky to live in the greatest country in the World, let all help keep it that way!

Hello Yolanda. Thanks for letting me know. I'm sorry to say we missed it - my husband's usually really good about this stuff. In all fairness, he's doing some home repairs for my parents today...he's a busy guy.
