I move my plants around outside. If the direction is changed the sun helps them grow better. Yesterday I inadvertently found and touched a small frog. I was surprised and freaked but thought he had jumped out after washing up and prodding him with a trowel. I was wrong. As I attempted to turn the inside pot around, I saw him looking up at me. I removed the inner pot and he was hanging on. I used the trowel to move him but he quickly jumped into another plant...... We played crazy person and frog for another ten minutes and he jumped onto the railing of my deck. I helped him down to the ground and haven't seen him since but my money is on this guy to find another pot and scare me again. Small, maybe, but persistent for sure.
Hi Kim and David. Can't imagine a lizard. That would make me jump too. TY. Sheila

Hi Kathy. When I first moved here I had one in the house too. A workman left the Bilco open and I found one in the basement. I'm surprised you didn't hear me scream. Sheila

LOL. I would have loved to watch this happen. My wife hates frogs and we get them here during the rains. I have to lead the way up the sidewalk at night. lol

I can handle the frogs. It's snakes that give me the chills. Fortunately, I don't see too many of them around my house.

Those small things that startle you and take your breath away are the worst. We had 2 snakes in our yard a few weeks ago due to some major digging going on in a long unattended yard next door where they were probably living. HATE THEM!

Hi Sheila Anderson if you lived in the south like I do you will have all kind of frogs, toads, lizards, snakes and spiders to keep you company. And along with just about any other kind of furry creature.

I had a turtle freak me out the other day. I nearly stepped on him at the bottom of my steps headed to work. I was brave enough to take a photo, but no touching.

Sheila Anderson I'm smiling because I would be screaming with my hands in the air. Frogs are okay in their own habitat. In my mind, that is not my yard! The truth is that we have toads, snakes, lizards, and more in the yard.

Good morning Sheila. We see them all the time, around our property, but usually leave them alone, but our dog plays games with them.

Good morning Sheila. Persistence pays off in the long run. He's just trying to secure a meal by ridding you of some of the insects around your plants.

Hello Alan. I didn't know you were sadistic. I can relate to your wife. TY. Sheila
Hello Ted. I live up north and have wild turkeys across the street, frogs, bears and other critters including possum and coyotes. Scary here too. Sheila
Hello Tammy. I had two huge snapping turtles in NJ that required the police to take away. It was nothing to laugh at. TY. Sheila
Aww that frog had found a home! Lucky he hadn't already installed his mail box.
I bet he comes back.

Hello Kat. I think you are right. But no mail for anyone here so the frog would need another plan. Sheila
