Be Happy and Don't Sweat the Small Stuff
Unfortunately, we can't control what other folks do. We are going to come across rude and inconsiderate people throughout of lives. We are also going to receive some bad news once in a while and have some bad experiences.
The trick is for the happy/positive experiences to outweigh the bad/negative. Here's an example. Rich and I volunteered for a fundraising event on Saturday. 98% of the people were nice and extremely kind making generous donations. There were a few grumpy people who decided they need someone to complain to and that someone was me. I chose to focus on the 98% who had cheerful attitudes and open hearts.
