And No is How You Get There!
The Book Club I just joined had me reading this great book called Go For No. YES is the destination NO is how you get there.
This book discusses the one road block in sales; which is the word NO. Like I have told many people before, "Go ahead and ask! How many times has "NO" killed you?" The concept of this marketing technique is to gather many nos so that you can succeed by reaping a yes or two along the way.
At first I was confused but then I got the jest of the whole thing. It is a great idea and I think the competitiveness in us will want to gather as many nos as we can. Thereby winning with the yes's that come our way.
I must say that I enjoyed it better than the book we here on Active Rain raved on entitled, "The One".... The one thing that makes it for each of us. I think it must be gathering nos. I must say this book was more enjoyable to read than The One.
I hope you give it a chance and read it. I purchased it on Kindle and was not too expensive.
