FEELING THE LOVE AFTER MAKING A BIG MISTAKE!
Some of my older tenants use an on-line pay service to pay their rent. Long-story-short, the payments go straight to the owners and I have to enter a credit in my software each month when they use the service. Well, this month, I accidentally marked the credit as a payment, so my software thought I actually had the money. When I did billing, it told me to send money to the owner. If i'd done it right, it would have said for the owner to pay me!

Anyway, I sent the money to the owner, who promptly notified me that I'd made a mistake. He didn't have to. After correcting the error and sending him a new statement, this is what he wrote to me....

"Hi Jay,

Of course! [referring to pointing out the error] You are not just my PM, but my friend too. As soon as I saw the deposit, I didn't hesitate. I wasn't quite sure what had happened until you told me, but I knew it had to be a mistake."

TODAY IS ONE OF THOSE RARE AND SPECIAL GOOD DAYS!!!
