You will never guess where "Vegas Bob" is headed in the next several hours?
VB was rolling through his groups at ActiveRain and featuring his favorite posts. Low and behold, VB came across this great post of a FREE musical event posted by Michelle on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
VB has been staying in Morgan Hill for the last several months which is only approx 30 miles from Santa Cruz.
So that being said, VB will be at the Eddie Money concert tonight followed by the up and coming FREE concert events over the weekends in Santa Cruz ;o)

Rocker Eddie Money kicks off the 2015 FREE Friday night "Bands on the Beach" concerts at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on June 19, 2015. Money is well-known for his songs “Baby Hold On”, “Two Tickets to Paradise”, “Take Me Home Tonight”, and "Shakin".
Looking for some FREE fun on the weekends this summer? Whether you live in Santa Clara or Santa Cruz County, just call some friends, pack a beach blanket, jacket and chairs and prepare to enjoy the "FREE Friday Night Bands on the Beach" concerts at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Each Friday night during the summer season from June 19 through September 4, 2015, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk sponsors two FREE shows on Friday nights, one at 6:30 pm followed by one at 8:3 pm0.
Visitors can hear the music playing throughout the Boardwalk, whether riding the Big Dipper roller coaster, eating a corn dog on the boardwalk, dining on the pier or just chilling with toes in the sand on the beach.
Enjoy a ride on the classic Looff Carousel. For thrills, ride the world-famous Giant Dipper, the largest wooden roller coaster in the West. Be sure to sample some of Marini's salt water taffy, now celebrating 100 years at the Beach.
Parking nearby is available although the closest is a bit pricey at about $12. However with the parking fee is a full page of coupons good at the Boardwalk for games, activities and food.
Concert Information and Etiquette
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, please note the following:
Access to the prime seating area begins at 4 p.m.; no blankets or chairs are permitted in the roped off areas before 4 p.m. The line formed on the beach will be given first priority at prime area seating.
Please limit blanket size to 3’ x 5’ feet per person, about the size of a beach towel. Only low-back chairs are allowed; High-back chairs will be required to move to the back of the beach area. Please allow others space and a good view.
Smoking is not permitted on the beach or Boardwalk. Alcohol and glass are prohibited on the beach. Recording of concerts is not allowed. Please keep walkways & stairs clear; dancing permitted in front of the stage only.
