It's my first post of the summer to complain about the heat in Atlanta. It's been over 95 degrees and HUMID for the last 10 or so days with no relief in sight.
Well, that's not quite true...Right outside my window is relief...my swimming pool si
ts mocking me.
Inviting me to partake of the cooling and tranquil waters.
Instead, I was up and working early this morning. Trying to get a head start on a busy day.
We moved the horse training session up from 2pm to 10am. It's just too hot in the mid afternoon to work. Even by 10 it was at least 85 degrees and by the time we finished an abbreviated training all parties were DRIPPING! The horses got hosed down and rested, eyes closing softly, in front of their fans.
I hopped back into the sweltering car and headed for the MLS store to pick up some new supplies for a weekend open house.
Home for a quick bite to eat and a change of clothes before my 2:30 listing appointment. Paperwork all signed and the listing will go live by the weekend.
Home to change clothes again!
Now I am taking a moment to write this post before heading out again to get a few flyers copied for the open house on Saturday.
Open house post to come.
How is the weather where you are? How are you handling it?
