Never Let The Big Guys Intimidate You
This is a picture of my young cat Misty stepping up to the plate, literally! She has certainly disregarded the fact that Rocco and Roxie could squash her with a single step. With no fear, she moves herself right in and joins the bigger guys.
This makes me think of starting off as a new agent. I've recently had interaction with a couple agents just starting out in the business. The fear of competing against seasoned agents was hindering their ability to deliver what they had to offer.
I was the youngest agent in the office when I started 16 years ago. I had the biggest shoes I felt I needed to fill and I was clueless as to how I would ever be able to do that. Eventually, I learned how to not only use the skills my mother had taught me but to use them in combination with what I knew I had to bring to the table. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you push through your fears and discover how powerful you really are!
