What Does the May 2015 Sharon MA Home Sales Report Say?
According to information from the MLS Property Information Network, a total of 14 Sharon MA homes were sold in May 2015. That was a 27.2% increase from May 2014 and a 40% increase from April 2015. However, it was also the second lowest total sales in May in the last five years.
The average price paid for a Sharon MA home in May 2015 was $613,814. This was a 14.6% increase from the same time last year. One Sharon MA Buyer purchased a 3 bed/1 bath, 1410 square foot Colonial for $344,900. That was $5,000 under the listing price. A beautiful 4 bed/1+3 bath, 4600 square foot Victorian Colonial located on Lake Massapoag sold for $1,125,000. That was a whopping $200,000 under list price!
Good News for Buyers and Sellers
The May 2015 Sharon MA Home Sales Report had good news for both Buyers and Sellers. Sharon MA Buyers should be happy to learn that the list price to sale price ratio has decreased from 98% in May 2014 to 97% in May 2015. This means that Buyers are paying less than the list price for most properties. Even so, Sellers will be happy to note that prices have continued to increase.
