May-June Sacramento Real Estate Market Jonathan Yturralde 916-765-3274

The Sacramento Real Estate Market is absolutely huge.  Homes in the Sacramento area have risen in value at such a rate that people aren't afraid anymore.  Now people are getting excited.  It's Home Selling Season!

Wait...

What about the drought?

Yes there is a California drought that is affecting the desireability of many Sacramento landscapes.  In fact some Sacramento Homes have been hit so hard by the drought conditions that entire landscapes have been rendered all but useless.

Remember that people buy with their eyes first.  Yes Location Location Location but how often have we heard the term "Curb Appeal"?  As a Realtor I know that Curb Appeal Matters!  People often lack vision and need to see a finished landscape.  With so many Sacramento Homes having brown lawns its been affecting the vision of the buyers.

Some homeowners have resorted to actually spraying the color green on the lawn!  Can you believe it?!!  People are actually painting their lawns to "pretend its green".  Hey in any other situation I would laugh a bit, even chuckle, however the truth is that sometimes it works.  Homeowners have gotten crafty and have even started installing desert landscapes to prepare for a future conditions.

Sacramento Home Market is Heating Up!

The Sun is Shining and Homes Are Selling!  People everywhere are getting that First Time Homebuyer feeling!  SacramentoHomeSellQuickYes folks if you are looking to Buy a house in the Sacramento Marketplace your weather is certainly helping you out.  The effect of the drought has affected many homes desirability which means if you have vision there are homes available for you right now at a great price!  It's often difficult for homebuyers to get a fair shake in a "Sellers Market".  Fortunately that's not always the case.  I've made a career out of creating win win situations for both Seller and Buyer in Hot and Cold Markets.  Yes the markets heating up but the homebuyers are also more educated and that's helping speed up sales (a topic for a different time).

Home Buying Has Never Been Easier.  Money is incredibly cheap even with rates rises predicted.  For many it may be the last chance at a Dream Home or Luxury Home for quite sometime.  There are mortgage professionals that would love to help run scenarios that will help identify how much house you qualify for.  Curious about how much you qualify for?  Text me at 916-765-3274 and I'll help you!

Welcome to ActiveRain. Curb appeal really does matter - I find it quite interesting that some people are spraying green on their lawns. I'll bet those houses do look better!

Welcome to ActiveRain and congratulations on your very first blog. Looking forward to all your future blogs regarding Sacramento.

Wonder what are your personal thoughts about the painted green grass. In the high desert many homeowners are resorting to changing the landscape to gravel. Not very curb appealing but at least they are doing their part in conserving water.

Jon - I have not yet seen any lawns painted green though I could see the possibility.
