One of the things that I love most about living in Cobb County, Georgia is the collection of historic small
towns/cities that make up the county. Each city has a unique flavor and downtown district that welcomes residents and visitors alike.
The county seat of Marietta centers around the Historic Marietta Square where government offices meet and mingle with antique shops, fine & casual dining, theater and a myriad of festivals throughout the year. The July 4th Celebration in Marietta is one that is not to be missed!

I have called Powder Springs home since 2003. The city has made tremendous strides in revitalizing the downtown district over the years and the July 4th holiday is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the improvements. Come out and meet your neighbors and take part in celebrating our nation.

Looking for a little pre-celebration celebration? The city of Kennesaw's tradition continues with festivities on July 3rd. You can kick off the party on Friday night beginning at 6pm. Centered around the Train Depot, the downtown district of Kennesaw is the epitome of a railroad town.

Fireworks over the Lake in the City of Acworth. Lake Acworth will make a lovely back-drop for the July 4th celebration. Acworth is another small city whose downtown district has seen an incredible revitalization over the last 10 years. New storefronts, additions of upscale and casual dining establishments...all centered around the Beach!
