This is a short blog today because I feel this subject is very simple.

Okay, here's my opinion regarding commissions in this market:  Full commission, full service!

When the market is such that homes are practically selling themselves, sellers don't need to pay full price for real estate services.  In a market such as this current one, sellers really need an experienced Realtor's advice.

I tell people who want to negotiate commission fees, "If something were medically wrong with you would you look for a discount doctor?  If you were sending yourself or your child to college would you choose the one with a poor reputation because it was cheap?  The answer is no in either case, because in either case you wouldn't get the RESULTS you want.

We recently let a lender take their REOs elswhere because they wanted us to reduce our commission. No lack of brokers willing to bend over and do whatever the lender dictates.

I agree. I get paid to provide a specialty service. No discounts here!

Pamela. I agree all the way. Why discount when you do the same job. Thanks, Royal..
