The Smokey Hill River Festival takes place at Oakdale Park, during the second full week of June every year - (Thursday – Sunday). This is known as “The Premier Art Festival”. The unique attraction to the River festival is that Artist’s from all over the country as well as local, present their paintings, sculptures, and jewelry in one location – right here in Salina, Kansas!
There are a host of activities scheduled including the Jam Festival that kicks off the event on Thursday night at the main stage: The Eric Stein Stage. Bands from different locations come and perform with a great mixture of music. From Rock, Funk, Classical, Folk, and Jazz! Not only will you find great music, there are children’s activities too! You will find great food as well – with over 30 food vendors!
