Are you ready for this weekend? A time when we celebrate the birthday of this great country, do you know what you will be doing? Will you be at one of the many events in the area, or will you be BBQ’ing at home with family and friends. If you still have not decided what you will be doing, here are a few suggestions:
Coon Rapids 4th Of July Celebration – July 2nd – 4th. The event is being held at a new location: Coon Rapids Ice Center, located at 11000 Crooked Lake Boulevard. Events include a carnival, parade, fireworks, bingo, pull tabs and other fun activities.
A Taste of Minnesota - Waconia Fairgrounds – now until July 5th. Live music, beer and wine tastings, blood drive, inflatable, pony rides, petting zoo, midway rides and fireworks.
Anoka Fireworks – July 3rd. This is the 18th annual fireworks display. The fireworks show will start at dusk.
Minneapolis Red, White & Boom – Downtown Minneapolis Riverfront - July 3rd – 4th - A two-day celebration hosted by the Minneapolis Parks Board. Watch the 5k on Friday morning, the half-marathon on Saturday morning, enjoy great food, live music both evenings, a movie at 9pm on Friday, and all of it ends with fireworks at 10pm on Saturday!
Eagan Fun Fest - Eagan’s Central Park – July 3rd –July 5th. Carnival, food vendors, children’s bike parade, car show, blood drive and fireworks.
