Where can I see some fireworks on Lake Sinclair? 2015

Well with firewords being legal in Georgia now my best guess is ANYWHERE!  BUT if you are looking for the only organized gathering for fireworks... Oconee Springs Park! If you attend by car be prepared to park outside the gate and walk.  Bring your own chairs or blanket.  By boat let me show you on the map where Oconee Springs is located on Lake Sinclair. The show should begin around 9:30 p.m.

 

 

This is the Facebook post on their page about the fireworks!  I hope you enjoy!  You will need to zoom out on the map to see the location if you need the location.  Any GPS should be able to give you directions to Oconee Springs Park.

Susan Emo won't be going.  Laney isn't a fan of fireworks and I just can't leave her home.  In past years we could because only "sanctioned" places with professional shows had them (mostly), but with the recent legalization and novelty no way are leaving her alone.  We are going to head out and catch an early movie, but will home well before sundown to keep our girl comforted.

Tammy - I thought fireworks were always legal in Georgia.  I remember seeing the fireworks signs when driving down there.  Anyway, I am sure the fireworks will be spectacular over the lake.

Grant Schneider a few years ago some became legal, but nothing that was professional grade. This year they expanded so all the really pretty things like roman candles are legal too.  So yes, we had "fireworks signs", but they were firecrackers and sparklers.

I guess the WiFi where I am at the Columbia River Gorge in Washington won't let me see the Facebook page for fireworks on Lake Sinclair, but what the hey. They are past my bedtime anyway.
