What You Need To Do to Sell Your Home
Many times I show up at a home with folks interested in selling their home. First thing they ask is how much do I think they can get for our home? Then, second…what can we do to increase that?
There is no right or wrong answer. It all depends on the home. Sometimes the cost outweighs the gain for upgrades. Sometimes it needs repairs or the upgrade to make a home “sell-able”…other times it is just a personal decorating cost. If something is in good condition, just old, you may not want to replace it. 
But my #1, repeat- #1…. MUST!! CLEAN and De-CLUTTER!!
One thing that brings the value of a home down is mess and clutter. I can guarantee you we are a visual group of human beings. If I set two homes next to each other, same floor plan, same home….but one was clean and one was dirty. Even if the clean one was listed for more money…it will sell FIRST… every time… for more money. First impressions are everything!
