So I have a listing in Manhattan on the upper east side.  It's a 2 Bedroom for $969,000.  It's a great place, but I'm trying to understand why someone would pay this price for 1100 sqft when they could be 20-25 minutes away by car and train and get twice the home for 75% of the price.  I understand the convenience factor and the ambiance but lets get realistic, South Westchester is a far cry from a suburb.  There are many towns that are convenient to Manhattan and have a similar vibe to Manhattan(on a smaller scale of course).

By the way we have had a few offers on the Manhattan Co-op and we hope to have it in contract in the next few weeks.
