Enjoying Your Success Journey

“Success is not measured by where you are, but

the distance you’re traveled. Happiness

is not a state of mind, but

a manner of traveling.”

Rita Davenport, Keynote speaker, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Enjoying your success Journey

The real measure of success . . . . is in the journey.

A key in your long term success . . . . is to enjoy your success journey. For when you enjoy what you’re doing you will have found your purpose . . . .  and you will not be looking at what your doing as a job.

The person that embarks on their success journey with written goals has a purpose . . . . and a clear target to aim for. Their journey is clear to them before they start . . . . and their goals with keep them on purpose.

In their goals they can measure . . . . the distance that they have traveled . . .  . The results of their efforts . . . . and are they making the best use of their time to achieve their objectives.

The person with a purpose can measure their results against their goals . . . . and know where they stand in achieving their goals. They will also be able make course correcting . . . . and adjustments to keep them going in the right direction.

You will find success in enjoying your success journey . . .  . in achieving the milestones and in making progress. You will have a sense of self-satisfaction . . . . and take pride in measuring your success against your objective.

The measure of success is in . . . . enjoying the success journey.

Lou, I love this paragraph of yours... You will find success in enjoying your success journey . . .  . in achieving the milestones and in making progress. You will have a sense of self-satisfaction . . . . and take pride in measuring your success against your objective.

It is so true.... the journey may not be the true "happiness" of the ride, unless there is SUCCESS created by having the right system in place.

Lou you are absolutely correct! So many of us just want to get to success without enjoying the journey. When most of our time is spent on the journey. We need to treasure every day and every moment and every way along the path to success.
