Would You Like To Live In A Home

Built In The 1800's?

Below are three of my favorite older homes...all built in the 1800's and all of them available for sale.

#1

37 Sherwood Road built in 1887

MLS # BC 8687393

Wraparoundporch

This beauty, built in 1887, backs to county land and can be described as convenient country.

The porch is  spacious, delightful, relaxing, perfect for entertaining and is easily  accessed from many rooms.

 #2

1560 Bluemount Rd. 21111, built in 1812

MLS# BC 8511066

This gracious center hall colonial, built in 1812, has 5 bedrooms 4 with attached baths and a 5th with a 1/2 bath.  There are 5 fireplaces!

Sitting at the top of 34 magnificent acres in the rolling hills of Monkton with awesome views from over sized windows and wraparound porch.

Modern kitchen with island and heated floors and an adjacent laundry with  greenhouse window. Then there is the separate river cottage with water access for fly fishing, kayaking and hiking on the NCR trail.

 #3

 577 Woodbine Ave. 21204, built in 1850

MLS# BC 8637570

This wonderful home, built in 1850, is one of the largest in West Towson. Sitting on .73 acres, there is a circular drive in front and a two car garage in the back. There are many rooms..at least 6 bedrooms, 3 sunrooms, a huge room-sized pantry and a first floor bedroom and bath. There is a third level, ready to finish, with 7 1/2 ft. ceilings

High ceilings and lots of window bring the outside in. Conveniently located in the heart of  Towson, minutes to Towsontown shopping and Towson State University.

Baltimore has 3 homes built in the 1800"s  for sale right now!

Which one is for you?

Margaret, I just love those spacious porches that they built back in the 1800s. Beautiful choices.

Margaret, that first one was so incredibly spectacular--and that extra 3rd floor area was so very interesting.

Don't you feel lucky and blessed to be able to list such historical beauties??

Margaret I love older homes, the history, the character and I could go on and on...I had a listing a few years ago here in Los Angeles and the house was built in 1802....virtually unheard of in this town where if it is 20 years old you need to tear it down....Endre

Good Saturday morning Margaret. I have inspected a lot of properties that were built in the 1800s. They were built to last! And yes, I would have liked to have lived in some of them.

Margaret, they're so cute they look like doll houses.  What an adventure not only to live in one of these but the property looks magnificent.

I grew up in a home built in the late 1880s and I loved everything about it.  It's so interesting to see how the hands of time & people change them from their original state.

Endre Barath, Jr. That is really old in your area.

Michael Thornton  Built to last and lasting beauty.

Chris and Dick Dovorany What a priviledge to represent these properties. If we shrunk them, they would all make fabulous doll houses.
