Truckee Tahoe real estate market update for June 2015

The Truckee and North Lake Tahoer real estate market is tracking numbers very similar to 2014. The marjority of the sales have shifted to the lower price ranges in single family and sales are up for condominiums.

One of the neighborhoods, Martis Camp, continues to be one of the most successful new subdivisions in the country. Over 90% of the lots are now sold and about 2/3 of the lots either have a completed home, home under construction or a project in design review. Lots prices start at $700,000 and homes at $3 million. Squaw Valley is still moving ahead with its plans for a new village and interconnect with Alpine Meadows ski area. The project is now in the environmental comment period.
