Marion County Public Works will be offering a Master Recycler class beginning in September
Many of the 600+ people that have taken our class over the years have been sent by their employers so that they can bring what they've learned back to make their business more environmentally friendly.

The class will be five all-day classes on Thursdays (Sept. 10 – Oct. 8) with lectures from industry experts in the mornings and fieldtrips in the afternoons.  The course is limited to 30 students and space is limited.  Registration closes on Sunday, August 9, 2015.  The class costs $25 and students must agree to complete 30 hours of relevant volunteer service upon completion. Note that any time spent working on qualifying projects at work also counts towards the required 30 hours of volunteer payback.
Class details can be found on the Chamber website under News Releases, look for  MediaRelease_MRClassFall2015.
