5 Mistakes that delay mortgage approval and how to avoid them.

 

To sum it up, tread carefully when buying a home.

 

Be upfront and honest - most likely the lender will discover your "secrets" anyways.

 

DO NOT CHANGE JOBS, OPEN NEW CREDIT, MOVE FUNDS IN ASSET ACCOUNTS, SPEND FUNDS IN ASSET ACCOUNTS, or do anything else that could potentially affect your loan approval.

Good advice! I once had a buyer who bought so much outrageously expensive furniture while in escrow that their loan fell out. That's a lot of couches!
