Life is full of choices,
Don’t you think?
Some are easy,
Some not so easy.
Sometimes we wish we had chosen more wisely,
Other times we surprise ourselves how correct we ended up being.
Some argue that choosing may be the only power we really have.
Others argue that we have no choice.
Sometimes other people think they know what is best for us,
As if they don’t have enough choices to make of their own;
And of course we “wonder” about the half baked choices they make.
It is sad to see people let choices slip them by,
But even that is a choice.
Isn't it?
We move from decision to decision,
Hopefully learning,
But often we end up going down the same tunnel,
Expecting the cheese that someone else has eaten long ago.
Other times,
Choices are much clearer cut.
