Why I love to farm Eastvale CA

What do you mean farm? What has farm got to do with real estate? Well, allow me to explain why farming is still important for your real estate business for it to flourish.

Farming basically means that an agent has picked out a geographical area or subdivision where he or she sends out valuable real estate marketing material to its residents on a regular basis. To farm an area is to grow and harvest that area for business, referrals and network.  The word itself implies to plant a seed for future crop harvesting.  A typical farm consists of 150 to 200 homes. The agent becomes the go to individual of that particular geographical area.

I farmed Heartland community yesterday. I passed out recent Solds market report of the community.  Now, lets get back to the topic of the blog...

Why do I love to farm in Eastvale CA?

A local Eastvale homeowner gave me a bag full of figs as I was farming his neighborhood.

Fruits of farming Eastvale...literally.

Figs, I haven't had figs in years.  When I was a kid growing up, the house next door had an old fig tree that was older than the gods.  That tree kept the entire block supplied with the wonderful fruit!

Myrl Jeffcoat - This was my first time eating unprocessed fig...delicious.

I am surprised the homeowner's fig tree is still so fruitful during our California drought. That is one house I will make sure to stop by everytime I farm that neighborhood.
