The small community of Coldwater Springs is located west of Phoenix off of the I-10 freeway providing easy access to all of the Phoenix metro area. This popular subdivision is built around the Coldwater Golf Club providing great golf course lots and views for the residents.

Collier Elementary School, a part of the Littelon School District, is located within the community for easy access for elementary students. Avondale is a diverse and spread out city located west of Phoenix and nestled at the base of the Sierra Estrella Mountains. It's a premier destination for NASCAR racing, education, arts, wildlife watching, festivals, shopping, dining, and recreation. Tanger Outlet miles are less than 5 miles away.
Avondale is home to Estrella Mountain Community College, Northern Arizona University State Distance Learning, Rio Salado College @Avondale and the Universal Technical Institute. Avondale is only minutes away from ASU's Downtown and West campuses, as well as Midwestern University and the University of Phoenix.
Avondale hosts local and regional events, including soccer tournaments at Friendship and Festival Fields Parks, golfing at Coldwater Golf Club and numerous sporting events at Arizona's largest indoor sports court complex, American Sports Center. Avondale is also less than miles from the Arizona Cardinal's football stadium and the Phoenix Coyote's NHL hockey team's stadium. Spring training is also close by.
Avondale offers wildlife viewing, hiking, biking and trail running at the Tres Rios Recreation Corridor as well as the Estrella Mountain Regional Park.
