Summer Movie Night at Lee Park in Dallas

By
Real Estate Agent with United Real Estate Dallas TREC# 0544069

Thursday night is Summer Movie Night at Lee Park in Dallas.  The featured film is  The Notebook,  based on Nicholas Sparks' novel.  Bring your blanket, snacks and remember the Kleenex.  No matter how many times I see this film, I need Kleenex!

Food trucks will be on site. You can also stop at Eatzi's , on Lemmon and Oak Lawn and select your favorite prepared foods!

Picturesque Lee Park is a shining example of a private-public partnership. Passionate individuals donated over two million dollars to City of Dallas bond funds, for the restoration of this fifteen acre park in the mid 1990s.  In collaboration with the Dallas Park and Recreation Department,  bankers, architects, engineers, attorneys,  designers, and project managers donated their time and financial resources to restore the historic Lee Mansion and its beautiful grounds.

I love these outdoor movie in the park events. The Notebook is a great movie, too. I'll have to rewatch that one. It's been a while.

Alan Kirkpatrick  Good memory!  The Water Gardens are in Ft. Worth. Logan's Run was filmed there in 1975.

I like the fact that cities are doing this for the communities. It is an inexpensive way to add to quality of life.

Debbie Reynolds I agree.  Dallas is creating many opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors, to share activities for little or no expense.

Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl I have seen this movie many times and I still need a box of Kleenex!
