How a file saved, saved my bread baking

I was waiting for the bread dough to rise enough to put in the oven, so I went to my computer to look for something on the net.  When I found it, I saved it to my C drive.

Timer went off and I put the bread dough in the oven, then went to talk with someone outside for a few minutes.  When I came back in the house I realized that I had forgotten to put the timer on for the bake.  Wow!  What am I going to do now I said to myself.

Behold, I just saved a file on my computer seconds before I put the bread dough in the oven,  so I went to the file, looked to see when it was saved and there it was 8:35, so the bread dough went into the oven around that time and all I had to do was count 30 minutes from then and that's when I must take the bread out of the oven.

Another lesson to always save your work.

The new generation of kitchen appliances will be connected to the Internet.  So, it will be easier to program oven times and the NSA will be able to spy on you to see how many loaves of bread you are making.

I have a free program on my PC called Free Alarm Clock that I use as a timer/alarm.  And I have a free app on my Android phone that is an alarm clock/ stop watch/ timer.

I knead more dough, please send cash.

Good Wednesday morning Kenneth. I like to bake bread myself and I always keep my recipes in a book.

Ed;  I got lucky.

Jerry;  my bigest fear is the government will find out about my bread making and tax me on it.

Michael;  I've made more bread then I can count in the last 40 years, so the recipes are in my head, but I did post a blog of my start to finish video of my bread.

Dan;  thanks for stopping by and the comment.  Yes what do you do with burnt bread?
