10 Things To Ask When Interviewing a Real Estate Agent

 

- How do youp lan to market my home vs. other agents?

- What is your definition of "Full Service"?

- Of al the homes that have sold in OUR area in the last year, what percentages have been by your company?

- How long have you been a licensed real estate agent? Is real estate a full time job for you or do you have a second job?

- How many hits does your company's website recieve per month?

- What commission percentage do you charge?

- What percentage of that commission do you pay out to the buyers broker?

- What is your list price to sale price percentage?

- What are the average days on the market in our area and the metro area?

- What is your average days on market for the homes you list?

What's interesting about these questions is I go into each listing presentation expecting to get hit with this type of questioning. Most sellers are only concerned about commissions which is an easy question to justify. Thanks for the tips.
