Arapahoe County Fair CO - 7/23/15 -7/26/15

It is that time again to attend the Arapahoe County Fair! Bring the family and be prepared to enjoy yourselves! There is something for everyone in the family.

Here is a small sampling of what you will expect at the Arapahoe County Fair -

Schedule of Events

Back this year:

Dock Dogs
Mutton Bustin'
Petting Farm
Rodeo
Truck Pulls
Unlimited Carnival Rides
Open Class & 4-H Exhibits
Fireworks Friday & Saturday nights

Cost to Attend:

Dinner ticket includes general admission and parking pass.

Admission includes unlimited carnival rides, fireworks, concerts on the main stage, rodeos, high flying dogs, 4H exhibits, open class contests, tractor pulls and demo derby.

Gate & Exhibit Hours -

Thursday 4 pm to 9 pm

Friday 11 am to 11 pm

Saturday 11 am to 11 pm

Sunday 11 am to 11 pm

Make plans now to attend, and be sure to wear sunscreen, the weather looks like it will be sunny and hot!

Rob Thomas "mutton bustin" is a long time fair tradition of little kids riding sheep, much like the big kids ride the bulls and broncs. The "politically correct" crowd is trying their damndest to banish this activity. I can't figure out if they "feel" it's the sheep who are being abused, or if it's the kids.
