Pine Valley Heritage Days & Duck Creek Days & More
Pine Valley Heritage Days are back again. This huge celebration that can be enjoyed all weekend long and will feature Pine Valley Heritage Day, Duck Creek Days and Escalante Pioneer Day. You will have the opportunity to learn about this history of pioneers and Native American cultures, see Smokey Bear and pack mules and watch cross-cut saw demonstrations while have so much fun. So bring your family and friends out to enjoy all the festivities.
Pine Valley Heritage Days
This 5th annual celebration highlights the heritage of the Pine Valley area, which is beautiful with tree-cover mountain peaks. It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy the great outdoors and cooler temperatures that the higher elevation provides. Great fun and entertainment can be enjoyed all weekend long. There will be artisan displays of authentic weaving, spinning, quilting, tatting, candle dipping and rug making. There will also be plenty of food vendors featuring authentic Indian tacos, hot dogs, burgers and drinks.
Kids can enjoy wagon rides every 30 minutes and historic tours for the whole family. There will also be local singer Sarah Walther performing along with singing duo Harvest Home and Keith Behunin.

Duck Creek Days
Stop by and see Smokey Bear at the Dixie National Forest Service booth at the “Duck Creek Days” Friday and Saturday at Duck Creek Village. There will be music and entertainment, kids games and activities, a chili cook-off, prize drawings, vendors and booths. Duck Creek Village is surrounded by the Dixie National Forest with hundreds of miles of all-terrain vehicle trails, hiking, camping and fishing opportunities.

Escalante Pioneer Day
Join in the fun Friday and Saturday in downtown Escalante to celebrate the pioneer history and cultures of the local area with food, drinks, entertainment, historical tours and outdoor recreation. The Dixie National Forest will have a booth with children’s activities. There will be a kids parade and carnival Saturday.
