I am more organized than that but I want to make a point.
I read about those who have a script. Don't get me wrong, I am not putting you down. It is one way of staying on point.
But...are you married to that script? Are you able to roll with the punches and still cover everything you need.
Buyers don't know your script...Buyers will ask questions and want answers. Do you answer them right away or do you tell them you are getting to that.
I make the script my own. Clients like to talk and tell you everything most of the time so you must have a way to get to the point you are trying to make without offending them. So gradually work your way in.
I help new hires to write a talking list, items to cover and things they need to know in order to answer questions.
I think we could all benefit from having a script to start with, something that we can build on with experience William Feela .
I'm a fly by the seat my pants guy. I take my lead from the customer, but always cover what I need to in a way that suits them.

I do my best as well, William. I suppose I have a script to start, but rarely do I get the chance to stick with it.
I have never been adept at following a script..if I try to, I sound stilted. I have found being prepared ad nauseum is the best remedy; I prefer to have as much knowledge as I can and let the conversation flow naturally. Nothing beats experience, though, for having answers.

Bill, Never have used a script but am always prepared to answer any and every question that is presented! So, when are you going on that fishing trip?!
I think if you are knowledgeable, and have some experience under your belt, you will be able to handle any questions that come your way. It may seem like your flying by the seat of your pants, but there's some real substance in those pants. . .Oh, oh, that last sentence didn't come out quite right.

I never used a script...I had a list of items and hit them all as they come up.
