Gaithersburg Fall Youth and Teen Sports Programs
Registration is now open for Fall Youth and Teen Sports Programs in the City of Gaithersburg. Fall offerings include cross country, flag football, soccer, and volleyball. Brand new this year is youth cricket, which proved to be a very popular station at the City’s recent SportsFest program that introduces children to the variety of sports programs available in the City.
Gaithersburg Sports leagues offer one practice and one game per week, allowing youth and their families time for other activities. Additionally the City is offering Start Smart™ programs for 4 and 5 year olds in football and soccer. Start Smart is an international program designed to introduce youth, along with their parents, to the world of sports.
The registration deadline is September 8. The City cannot guarantee entry into a program for registrations received after September 8. Start Smart™ programs and the Volleyball Clinic are limited in their class sizes, and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Fall Youth and Teen Sports offerings include:
- Cross Country – Coed: Grades 1 - 6
- Flag Football – Coed: Grades K & 1, 2 & 3 and 4 & 5
