Our northwest Wisconsin affiliate real estate company, Madeline Island Realty LLC, is pleased to see this post re-blogged. In late May, we began researching statistics on luxury homes sold during the past five years on Madeline Island. The results were eye-opening.
In the past four and one-half years, Madeline Island Realty listed seven of the eight homes priced at $500,000 or more which sold during that time period.
The highest ratio of sold price to list price among these eight luxury home sales was achieved by Madeline Island Realty in 2013, at 99% of list price. Madeline Island Realty listed that property and also procured the buyer.

Madeline Island Realty is definitely on a roll. Call it a trend or merely an indicator, but the fact remains that over the past four and one-half years, we listed seven of the eight Madeline Island homes which sold at over $500,000.
Here's a bar chart which demonstrates that Madeline Island Realty's upper-bracket sales statistics are the strongest in the Apostle Islands real estate market. The bar graph below shows all eight Madeline Island home sales at over $500,000 which closed during the past five years. Seven of these successful home sales were properties listed for sale by Madeline Island Realty. Only one of these eight sold properties was listed by a competing real estate company.
Not only did Madeline Island Realty list 7 out of the past 8 sold luxury homes in our marketplace, but our Northwest Wisconsin real estate company also procured the buyer in half of those eight successful sales.
Five of the above eight homes sold during this time period were closed at over $600,000. All five of those $600,000-plus homes were listed by Madeline Island Realty and we also procured the buyer in three out of those five sales.
Three of the above eight homes sold during the same time period were sales closed at over $700,000. Madeline Island Realty not only listed and marketed all three of those homes, but we also procured the buyer in two out of three of those $700,000-plus sales.
