Join Barrie at our Kempenfest festival July 31- August 3 2015

 This year celebrates the 45th year of Kempenfest! With an estimated amount of over 200,000 people to come join the festival, this year will be nothing but fun. Barrie's Kempenfest festival will be held along the beautiful waterfront of our Kempenfest Bay. Kempenfest consists of many non-for-profit oraganizations and clubs who join to create an amazing long weekend each year for you to enjoy. In the past 37 years, it is estimated that the Kempenfest has helped to raise over five million dollars for these local organizations. 

Antiques, Collectibles, Music and MORE!

One of the main attractions at the festival each year is the antique show. Members of the Barrie Optimist Club join by hosting the show of antiques and collectibles at the Centennial parking lot. Everything from old water pumps, farm scales that have been made into coffee tables, cupboards and much more. Kempefest will be having over 350 exhibitors lined up along the lakeshore for you to visit.    

Along with the antiques, the festival also offers entertainers performing live music. This year April Wine will be performing on the OLG main stage. To see the schedule of all performers for the long weekend click here.
