Wordless Wednesday: We're in the Parade!

We're in the parade! Cub Scouts at the Renton River Days Parade.

Some of my fondest memories as a kid were being in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. These young guys are obviously totally in the moment together and having the time of their lives.

If you’re not in the parade, you watch the parade. That’s life. ~ Mike Ditka

Scouts...my son started with the orange hats in picture (Tiger  Cubs or something) and ended up Eagle.  Lots of parades and camps!

Hi Rene - Cool! I got kicked out of Boy Scouts for teaching my pals how to make cigars out of pine straw and aluminum foil on a camp out

Guess it's really really been a long time for me Gary L. Waters, Broker Owner Waters Realty of Brevard, LLC ... We didn't have 'orange' hats. But I sure did a lot of camps, parades and jamborees!

Hi Dick Greenberg ... Too funny! That sounds like my old Boy Scout troop. We were Renton Renegades, a rather loose group of nonconformists. But we shared a love for camping! Love to hear that cigar story sometime! :O)

I came too late to have even kids get involved, but seems something that I would love kids to go through

Hi Alan Kirkpatrick ... Nothing like a good old fashioned hometown parade. Parades tell a story! Thanks! And you too, have a great week!
