Would You Call the FBI to Report a Crime?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

I am most certainly not a vigilante and I don't ride around on my white horse trying to save people from themselves, but I do try to help by reporting incidences that not only affect me but can affect a bunch of other innocent bystanders as well. I feel that if I'm removing one crook from the steady stream of crooks that seem to flow into Sacramento from all points, that I'm somehow supporting other fellow human beings.

It's not only that I can generally spot a crook from a mile away and that I might just normally harbor a suspicious nature, it's that other people seem far too trusting and they make easy marks for scammers. If they didn't, the scammers wouldn't be able to get away with it.

Probably not but I would call the police in that local area to report one

Good morning Elizabeth.  Why in the world would you argue with this idiot?  I don't have the time and knowing my temper I would go hunting if you get my drift....

Hi Elizabeth.  Is that guy legally able to rent his house and sleep in a trailer?  Weird.  Good call to the FBI and your dress.

I'm a little miffed, Elizabeth.  I really wanted to give that dress a try!

David Shamansky Well, I did have a neighbor call me yesterday about one of my listings to report suspicious activity, and I had to tell him to call the police, for crying out loud! Did you know in Sacramento they don't arrest squatters? They give them a citation because it's a misdemeanor.

James Dray  I guess because he used an accusatory tone and was not listening. You're right, I should have just hung up like I would for any other time waster.

Conrad Allen I don't know if he can legally sleep in his driveway; I'm glad I don't live next door to him. He's down by Vic's Ice Cream and defends it by saying it's near commercial. But airbnb seems to be legal so far.

Gabe Sanders Ha, ha, can you believe she asked me that? I mean, sometimes you unknowingly buy clothing somebody else has tried on but much of the merchandise I buy is new, with paper-stuffed hangers, just arrived. Still, not when you're about to ring up a purchase.

You know me, I'm happy to report criminal behavior.  I absolutely believe that I need to be part of the solution.
