Answer To Pop Quiz About Alaskan Wildlife
Majority of Alaska's land has be designated National and Start Park regions. Denali itself is 6 million acres of untouched wilderness. When you arrive in Alaska, do you think the wildlife population will be in abundance all around? This includes near major Alaskan cities, the coast line, National and State park and preserves.
The answer is:
No. Wildlife in Alaska is rare to come across and you are "lucky," as some locals will say, to see any, especially the main four animals. They include the Bear, Moose, Karibu and Wolf.
How can you see these animals? You need to have patience first and foremost, and go to where majority of them will be roaming safely. This will include the any State Parks, National Preserves and Wildlife Conservations Centers.
In my next post I will provide one tour that we had great success in seeing all four major animals, as well as small birds, mammals and the Eagle.
