Good morning and happy Friday!
I wanted to share a concept with you called "making your future bigger than your past"
Last month I celebrated my 50th birthday. It's a milestone for many people, but to me it was the end of Game "1" in my life. The first 50 years was all just research and development to me.
Finding out who you are, what you stand for, or reflecting on all the wonderful people I have met and have influenced my life. Learning from so many great teachers, coaches and mentors.
Turning 50 marks the beginning of Game "2" in my life-the next 50 years. I am commited to making the next 50 years bigger than my first 50.
I do this beacuse I am committed to always ensuring that my future is bigger than my past. I have met many people who's past is always bigger than their future. They stop growing and get old because they find more safety in the past.
Living in your past requires no courage. One of my coaches-Dan Sullivan, from Strategic Coach said it best..." You are only old when your future plans require no more courage. You remain young when you continually seek new plans that require courage. Some people are "old" when they are 18, 30 or 40, while others, much more senior, remain young as they explore new opportunities for courage"
So, what does this have to do with your real estate career?
Everything!
If you have had a bad year, so what! Make a choice to have your furure better than your past. If you have had a great year, be grateful but commit to have a better future than this year.
What is holding you back from living your best life ever? Always make your purpose greater than your money, your contribution to your clients life bigger than your reward and make your gratitude bigger than your success!
Life is short folks....time to be courageous and try new experiences and goals. Live big, because you never know when your time will come.
Also, I have been scheduling quite a few dates for the "Double Your Income Experience Tour" this Fall. If you would like to see if we can stop in your area, just let me know and I will do my best to accomodate.
Happy Friday!
