And for this convenience those people have just given up their privacy as we know it.  It is unbelievable how we are supposidly "protecting" the Public by taking away our rights.  the people that get this card now have a national ID per se....all their info is in a database.  Same as all the new passports.....with those chips in them.

I met someone who actually claims he solved the airport security problem by purchasing a priest's garb..the priest's collared shirt and rosary beads, the whole works.  He claims he now absolutely breezes through airport security dressed as a priest.

I imagine the authorities would take a dim view of someone impersonating a priest.  You could get the electric pew for that!

I do not know if that is a good thing. I fly to Orlando on Wednesday and I would like to think that no one is "flying" through security. I see the inconvenience as a protection of those that are flying. In the case of next week it will be my whole family on the same flight- I want it to be as safe as possible. I think that if there is a way to circumvent the system it will be discovered.
