It has been a bit warm this past month in Portola Hills and we aren't talking weather. The real estate market certainly got hot!
Comparing July 2015 vs. July 2014 we saw an increase in the median price in Portola Hills of 35%, with a 20% increase in the number of homes that sold! Below is a look at what homes sold in Portola Hills.

Now not to burst any bubbles.. As you can see the mix of properties is very different. The median size of home that sold in July 2014 was 1342 square feet. In 2015 the median size was 2259 square feet. The interesting fact here is the number of estate homes that sold increased, which has been the trend so far in 2015.
Currently available in Portola Hills are 14 homes... Starting today the new developement The Oaks opened their sales office and is anticipated these new Luxury Estates will have move in dates of early 2016.
I always like to say.. I don't have a crystal ball but with the continued low inventory throughout South Orange County along with the high buyer demand Portola Hills residents should feel confident that listing their home in todays market will bring them top dollar.
