“Lindu and Friends” at the David Alan Collection in Solana Beach in the Cedros Avenue Design District
Contemporary Indonesian Art Exhibit
The David Alan Collection (gallery website) is a wonderful furniture and accessories gallery in Solana Beach in the popular Cedros Avenue Design District a block over from the Coast Road.
The David Alan Collection is noted for beautiful modern furniture they create and build, as well as a vast collection of artifacts, collectibles, antiquities, Japanese antiques, primitive and folk art, jewelry, statuary, and so much more.
Lindu and Friends is a wonderful contemporary Indonesian art exhibit featuring Lindu Prasekti and a number of other artists, and over 80 works of art (sculptures and paintings). We didn’t have the opportunity to attend Lindu and Friends Opening Night on July 13th as we were out of town, but today’s visit was amazing.
A highlight was the beautiful wall mural “Myths at Play” (100’ x 25’) on the west wall of the David Alan Collection, readily seen from the Coast Road (Route 101)
