Chandler July 2015 Market Report

  In the month of July, Chandler numbers across the board decreased for the first time this year.  The average price of a home sold dipped to $288,862 and the average price per square foot decreased to $139 per square foot, down from $141 in June. 

  This is indicative that the summer surge is beginning to slow down.  The kids are getting settled into school and many people are getting back into their fall routines.

What does this mean? For buyers looking in Chandler, prices of homes are beginning to settle down from the usual summer increases from higher summer demands and thus buyers will obtain a better value on their dream home.  Sellers will still receive great value for their homes, but pricing will be crucial.  Summer months usually mean sellers can list their home for more than the market may dictate since the demand is typically higher in the summer months for buyers.  For that reason, it is imperative to sit down with a professional to obtain the market value for your home and determine a marketing stratgey to sell your home for top dollar in a short amount of time!
