A Simple Guide to Practicing more Efficiently

True success arrives when fully dedicated to the task at hand, and quickly becomes a matter of dedication rather than innate ability.  To become good at anything you must practice, and you must hone in the way you practice.  Once you’ve done that you can become good at anything.  In Highlands Ranch property management there are a lot of pitfalls and trial and error when you first begin.  Having been in business for over 15 years, these sorts of errors are quickly eliminated once systems have been put in place.  Here are some great tips for practicing and fully realizing how to optimize what you do.

Make sure you are constantly pursing your passion.  Passion and a love for your craft motivate you far better than anything else.  If the passion is missing then you may burn out faster.  If possible, find something else.  Along with this comes the ability to do the hard work first.  Items that require more care or attention should be done in the morning when you have the most energy.  If you frequently procrastinate, due to not having the same passion you had, your work will suffer.

Practice thoroughly and without pause during short 90 minute sessions during your work day.  This allows you to allot intense focus on specific tasks and absorb those efforts quicker.  The short breaks in between session allows you to retain information, get the blood flowing once again, and reduce certain health issues that might arise from staring at the computer and sitting for 8 hours a day.

Feedback is important, but it is more important to get it in small doses.  Too many conflicting criticisms can hamper your output, and not following your own path can detract from productivity.  You need to focus on your own work, accepting bits and pieces of wisdom along the way.

Make sure you ritualize these practice routines once they have been ironed out.  The more likely you are to subscribe to certain actions each day the easier it becomes to retain these skills and the information you are trying to absorb.  Make sure you’ve left room for rest in all of these systems.  This is rest outside of the micro breaks you are taking during the day.  Take a weekend off, and engage in some non work related activities.  These types of recharging sessions lead to breakthroughs and get your creative juices flowing again.
