Stoneridge Pointe is one of the best affordable condo communities
on Madison's far East side
(in my opinion)
Stoneridge Pointe is a fantastic condominium community that really sets itself apart from the rest. With around 136 units, the owners consist of many demographics.
Stoneridge Pointe has many wonderful things about it. It's safe, scenic, well kept, and has higher end amenities with a well-kept community center that includes a community room, coffee, fitness, tanning, outdoor pool, hot tub, movie room, and full locker room. The community center is shared with The Madison (luxury apartments) and is included in the monthly condo dues. With an active community, attention is paid to what amenities the occupants want... the community center evolves as time moves on. The community also has a nice large gazebo at the center and a couple grills for any community member to use.
The association is professionally managed (great management company) and the board is made up of unit owners. Condo dues include the community center, water and sewer (although the owner pays to heat the water), common area maintenance, exterior insurance, trash removal, and snow clearing, and management.
These condos were originally part of The Madison, built in 2002, and were converted to condos in 2005. Most units were upgraded at the time of conversion with solid surface counters and stainless steel appliances. Only a few having the original counter tops and appliances.
Other neat things: walk to High Crossing Park and bus stop; 5 min drive to East Towne or Prairie Lakes; 15 min to downtown; 2 minutes to American Parkway, bike path from High Crossing all the way to Prairie Lakes (and beyond); and super easy access to 151 or the interstate.
Stoneridge Point UNITS
There are 4 different floor plans available. There are units with 1-3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom 1 bath units without a den are only on the 1st floor. 1 bedroom 1 bath units with a den are on the 2nd level. There are 2 and 3 bedroom, 2 bath units on both the 1st and 2nd floor. All units have an open floor-plan, separate dining area (not the living room/dining room combo room like most condos) with the 2nd floor units having vaulted ceilings. All unis have a nice sized patio or balcony.
Parking is underground with stairs leading to the units. The parking garage also has a private storage closet for each unit, right by your parking space/spaces. Each building has 3 entrances on each side (front and back), and each entrance leads to 4 units. So, although not completely a private entrance, it's pretty close.
3 Unit condos are rarely available for sale so if you see one, contact us to scoop it up asap. 2 bedroom 2 bath units are also somewhat rare.
