Can't Get Enough Grubs!

What could be better for a Sunday breakfast than grubs? This little guy, who was out for breakfast with his sister (or brother) looks like he just can't get enough grubs.

We spotted him in John Chesnut Park this morning and I just had to get a photo since it was such a young armadillo. We see them often when out for walks in local parks and that is where I like to see them......not in my garden at home!

I once thought it would be fun to retire and have nothing more to do than manage an armadillo ranch.  By the way, that one says his name is "Brinks."

Have never seen an armadillo other than at the zoo, and would probably freak to see in the wild!

Be careful, just last week there was big news that armadillos in Florida carry leprocy.

No grubs for me. I do like your photo Barb. Those early morning walks produce some great finds.

Yes, cute but you can keep them. Although if they can keep the deer off our property I would consider one or more :)
