2015 College Station Market on the Green
You have probably been to one or two farmer's markets in your life. They are great places to meet with local farmers and artisans. It is also a wonderful place to catch up on local news. But I don't think you've seen anything like the 2015 College Station Market on the Green.
First of all, it takes place at the Millican Reserve. The Millican Reserve operates on more than 1,000 acres of beautiful Brazos Valley terrain. Run by the Millican Alliance, the Reserve is meant to promote healthy living in a natural environment. The only time that the Reserve is open to the general public is for events like the 2015 College Station Market on the Green.
Visit the market this Sunday to pick up fresh produce from local farmers. This will be the last 2015 College Station Market on the Green of the summer. So, it will be the last time to get that fresh summertime produce to add to your dinner table. Several crafts vendors will also be on-site selling their unique handmade items. Essentially Sweet Living, Party Barn Farm and Ft Dodge Farm are just a few of the vendors you will find here.
Pick up something for lunch from one of the talented food vendors at the 2015 College Station Market on the Green. While you eat, you will be serenaded with live music courtesy of Jack Houston. It's a lot of fun for everyone.
