Spotlight on the Flower District!

The Flower District of Manhattan has existed for a century but has been whittled down by progress growing up around it. It encompasses a little more than a block of West 28th Street, between Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue. But that small area is bursting with color and greenery! Aged green awnings and vintage signs peek out from the oasis, which blooms up in the middle of Manhattan.
The block is lined with flowers and greenery in pots and mini trees, along with cut branches, vases and all sorts of florist bits and bobs for any project, large or small. While much of the business is still wholesale, it can’t hurt to walk in and see if you can do some business!
