The Most Expensive Home sold in Arizona last week

The most expensive home that sold in Arizona last week is a throwback to a different time and era. Built in 1950, this luxury bungalow would have been considered a lavish and extravagant property. It's seen it's fair share of updates since then but is starting to show it's age once again. They say location is everything in real estate. If your ambition is to be in the heart of Scottsdale you'd be hard pressed to find a more desirable area. Situated on over two acres of land the new owner didn't just purchase the main living quarters when they closed on this deal.

You will find ponds, fountains, bridges, a building completely dedicated to wine and entertaining, a working office building, separate guest casita, and a massive pole barn hanger for storing every toy imaginable. Click on the picture below for the full MLS listing:

Location: Scottsdale

Size: 6,645

Bedrooms: 4

Bathrooms: 4.5

Lot size: 144,619 sqft

Stefan - That would be awesome for me as well!

John - I'd throw some great parties in that wine and entertainment building!

Sharon - It took a while but the sellers did eventually find a buyer!

John - That would be fantastic if that happened!

David - It's just a cool property with all the different buildings and scenery.

Anita - Plus it's smack dab in the heart of Scottsdale.

It can be so hard to look past furnishings in a home.  This one would give a completely different vibe with more informal furnishings.

Chris Ann - I completely agree. The home itself is a little dated but the furnishings don't help.

Paul - This home does have that vintage vibe to it. You don't see floor-plans like this one anymore.

Hi Nicole -- there are some great details in this home that lie just beneath the surface.  Very good opportunity to transform.    Your series of these posts are an excellent way of highlighting current market values in your area.  Nicely done.
